Bug-O First Open House was a Success!

Jul. 06, 2012

Bug-O Systems had their first annual Open House last month showcasing their joint venture with Lincoln Electric on a new pipe welding system. Attendees came from all over the world (including Canada, USA, and the Netherlands) to see what the new Piper Bug and Piper Plus System had to offer.

Bug-O held the Open House at their training headquarters (or Bug-O University), south of Pittsburgh, PA. Outside of the facility was a welding shed that housed the feature rich, Piper-Bug as well as Lincoln’s MDU (Mobile Demonstration Unit), Harris Consumable Booth and a Wachs pipe beveler. Once you stepped into the building, you were entrenched in everything Bug-O. From Modular Drive Systems that ran on vertical I-Beams to live welding demonstrations of Bug-O Circle Welders; a full range of automated welding equipment was out in force.

“I was extremely impressed with Bug-O’s Open House. I found it to be very informative and saw things there that I wasn’t even aware were on the market.” -Richard Blank

At the end of the event, a drawing for all attendees was held for a brand new iPad 2. Richard Blank, Owner of BlankWelding & Blank River Services and current user of Bug-O Track Welders and Magnets (shown below) won the prize.
